T-Mobile's Binge On service, which excludes certain video services from counting toward a user's monthly data plan, now includes music videos from Apple Music.

In a blog post on Tuesday, T-Mobile CEO and president John Legere announced Apple's music streaming service along with a dozen additional video services including ABC, DISH Anywhere, Nat Geo TV and Fox Now are now a part of the carrier's growing list of Binge On service.
Though Apple Music is already a part of T-Mobile's Music Freedom program, which allows the carrier's Simple Choice plan customers to stream music from participating music services without it counting toward their data plans, the latest addition includes the video content in the app, making the entire service essentially data-free.
With the new additions, more than 100 video services are now part of Binge On, which was created eight months ago, and exempt from eating up a user's monthly data plan.
According to T-Mobile, more than 765 million hours of video have been streamed through Binge On since its launch.
The full list of new video content providers added to Binge On follows below:
    • ABC
    • Apple Music
    • Big Ten Network
    • CEEK VR
    • DISH Anywhere
    • Disney Channel
    • Disney Jr.
    • Disney XD
    • D-PAN.TV
    • DramaFever
    • FOX NOW
    • FXNOW
    • NAT GEO TV
    • Shalom World
    • Sioeye
    • Tubi TV
Following the Pokémon Go hype train, T-Mobile announced a week after the game's launch it would be giving customers a full year of free unlimited data toward playing the game.

T-Mobile is giving away free stuff, including its own stock

T-Mobile customers are getting a chunk of the company today along with some other goodies as the phone carrier launches its #GetThanked campaign.
#GetThanked was announced Monday by president and CEO John Legere, and while many companies will offer customers prizes, goodies and benefits, you'll be hard-pressed to find another company that gives away its own stock. T-Mobile customers have been sent a certificate with details about how to redeem a single stock of T-Mobile (TMUS), currently valued above $43, through a new T-Mobile app.
The app, T-Mobile Tuesdays, allows T-Mobile customers to access weekly gifts and prizes, including free food, movie tickets, subscriptions, ride-sharing and more. T-Mobile Tuesdays is available to download now for Android and iOS.
Some of the prizes for the inaugural Tuesday — June 7 — include a Warcraft movie ticket, a Wendy's Frosty, a Domino's pizza and a movie rental from Vudu. Some customers can earn better prizes, centered around the Warcraft movie, including the top prize of an advance screening for 40 plus people.
The pizza, Frosty and movie rental are repeated every week for June, and other prizes include $15 for a Lyft ride, money for MLB.com, cooking magazines and a trip to Las Vegas. In a release, T-Mobile said they have partnered with Buffalo Wild Wings, Condé Nast, JackThreads, Samsung, Warner Brothers and more, so expect prizes that revolve around those companies.
T-Mobile customers are also getting an hour of free Wi-Fi on airplanes with Gogo inflight Wi-Fi. It also includes free iMessage, WhatsApp, Google Hangouts and Viber messaging for the whole flight.
All of these benefits of #GetThanked are a part of T-Mobile's "Un-carrier" campaign, where it is trying to differentiate itself by doing things other carriers don't do. It certainly seems to be succeeding, especially by offering stock to its customers, which almost no company has done besides online retailer Jet.com.
While these prizes and benefits are certainly a welcome way to thank customers, T-Mobile is likely looking to entice people to sign up, similar to how banks offer rewards and points programs to attract new customers.
UPDATE: June 6, 2016, 5:28 p.m. EDT The iOS app is now available.
