Justin Timberlake's new song, 'Can't Stop the Feeling,' is a sugary summer jam

Rejoice, the Justin Timberlake drought is over — soak it all in like you're starring in the "Cry Me A River" video.
JT has shared his first new solo song in three years on Thursday night with "Can't Stop the Feeling." His last single came in November with his 20/20 Experience track "Drink You Away."
The song is available on Spotify, Vevo and iTunes. The video he released on Vevo and YouTube is star-studded, with cameos from car karaoke aficionado James Corden, Gwen Stefani and other celebs.
While we don't know much yet about the followup to the 2013 album — home to the super suave Jay Z-featuring "Suit & Tie" — don't be surprised if it has a country twang. But Can't Stop the Feeling, is a pure pop song, sure to be a sugary summery hit.
Speaking to TMZ in November, JT's longtime collaborator Timbaland said "it's only right" for Justin to put out a country album.
“We are country. He’s from Tennessee and I’m from Virginia," he said. "It's only right that we try to tap into what we was raised in. We was raised in the country. That's who we are... We always wanted to do country music.

Justin Timberlake on Prince: 'He’s somewhere within every song I’ve ever written

Justin Timberlake remembers the first time he ever heard Prince. He was a 4-year-old in Tennessee; the song was "Raspberry Beret." And when he heard it, a whole new world opened up to him.
Timberlake wrote a heartfelt note sharing his memories of the legend on his Instagram, writing "we have lost our greatest living musician."
t was Raspberry Beret. I was 4 years old. Yes, 4. I remember that I instantly loved it. "Mommy, who is that singing?" Seems weird but it's true. More than a "once in a lifetime" artist... Just a ONCE IN FOREVER ARTIST. I'm still in shock as I write this and I feel this overwhelming grief. But, we should all turn away from that and HONOR this musician that changed all of our lives, our perspectives, our feeling, our whole being. From another planet? Probably. Royalty, for sure. Us worthy..? Laughable. They say don't meet your idols... That they let you down. But, some of my greatest, funniest (yes, he was hilarious), and most prolific encounters and conversations about music came from the moments that I spent with him. It would be silly to say that he has inspired our music... It's beyond that. He's somewhere within every song I've ever written. I am sad, but I will smile when I think of every second that I had the fortune of being in his company. We have lost our greatest living musician. But his music will never die. Prince, NOTHING COMPARES... #RIPPrince
In an interview with MTV News ahead of the release of Timberlake's FutureSex/LoveSounds in 2006 the ex-N'Syncer discussed the massive influence Prince has had on his career.
    Today, Timberlake echoed that sentiment.
"It would be silly to say that he has inspired our music...It's beyond that," Timberlake wrote. "He's somewhere within every song I've ever written."
