If you love the iPad, MacBook Air or iMac, you're probably going to love the Apple Car.

Senior Apple executive Bob Mansfield, the man who led the engineering development for those wildly popular products, has been tapped to lead the tech giant's car-making efforts, according to the Wall Street Journal, citing people close to the matter.
After championing some of the brand's biggest successes, Mansfield is now in charge of Apple's unconfirmed 600-member Project Titan, which has a tentative launch date of 2019.
Mansfield, who joined Apple under Steve Jobs in 1999, stepped into the company's advertising arm in 2013. However, even at that capacity, Mansfield said he would report to CEO Tim Cook on special projects. So, it would make sense for him to resurface for the Apple Car.
This is just another piece of the ever-growing Apple Car puzzle. Not only did Tim Cook say a "massive change" is coming to the auto industry, but Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirmedhe believes Apple is indeed working on a car. And most recently, the CEO of Mercedes' parent company, Daimler, revealed that he believes the Apple Car is further along than most people think.
So, is Apple working on a car? Probably. Will you ever be able to buy one, though? That's another question altogether.
