Wish your old Tesla Model S looked like the new, refreshed one? Well, there's a Tesla tuning company with a replacement fascia to help.
Aftermarket Tesla tuning company Unplugged Performance harevealed its complete refreshed front fascia system for Model S built between 2012 and May, 2016.
For $300 (not including installation and painting), you can buy a new fascia for your aging all-electric sedan.
More than just an aftermarket nose that mimics the Model X front end, it also adds a bit of sporty flare. Specifically, it includes a distinctive front spoiler, which is sportier still than the reworked Model S.

Tesla owners seem to really want a plug-and-play fascia, painted to match their car out of the box, according to Unplugged Performance's frequently asked questions. Sadly, that's not an option. Not only does Tesla offer lots of colors, paint shades vary slightly over the years.
Since no color can be perfectly recreated, the bodyshop will have to blend the new paint into your existing one a bit.
That means you'll need to set aside more than $300 for the fascia piece itself. I don't want to quote you a number, but I would be surprised if you get out of the shop for less than $2,000, after install and paint.

Oh, and make sure they don't throw out your Tesla logo from your original fascia. Unplugged Performance can't sell those. So, the shop will need to reuse your old one.
If this is starting to sound like quite the ordeal just to make your car look a bit more cutting edge, I agree. But it's a small price to pay to keep your luxury EV in vogue.
