A long time ago in a Twitterverse far, far away...
It is a period of Star Wars celebration. Major brands, striking from their Twitter accounts, have tried their best to pay tribute to a beloved movie franchise against the harsh judgment of the online public.
Once a grassroots holiday, May the Fourth has grown into a full-blown phenomenon with the mega-hyped reboot of Star Wars last year.
In doing so, it has also attracted more and more attention of brands far and wide looking to connect their own products or names to the hugely popular films with punny tweets and advertising tributes.
We collected all of the brands commemorating the holiday this year and ranked them from the most impressive to the ones that are... not yet a Jedi.
We gave points for creative photoshopping, relevance (it's hard to go wrong with NASA or the International Space Station), obscure references and, of course, general cleverness.
