EgyptAir has turned its social media accounts black to honour the victims of Thursday's plane tragedy.
On Twitter and Facebook, the airline's logo has been switched from its normal blue and white to a black logo, while the background image is a simple photo of grey clouds with the flight number: MS804.
The social media changes happened late on Thursday night, almost 24 hours after the flight with 66 people on board vanished en route to Cairo, Egypt from Paris, France. The flight left Paris at 11:09 p.m. CEST on Wednesday, and lost contact with the radar at 2:45 a.m. CEST Thursday. It is believed to have crashed into the Mediterranean Sea.

The victims include 15 French, 30 Egyptian, two Canadian, one Australian-British, one Algerian, one Iraqi, one Kuwaiti, one Chadian, one Sudanese, and one Saudi, according to CNN. There were three children on board. An official passenger list has not yet been released.
It is currently unclear what caused the plane to disappear from the radar and how the plane moved in its final moments. Reports by EgyptAir that debris from the plane had been found have turned out to be incorrect.
